The Gorton Legacy Group... 

...was established in 2001, with two primary  goals: 

* To perpetuate the "Gorton Legacy" which Slade himself defines as loyal staff, friends and supporters from throughout his career  (see "About Slade" for his tribute to his staff).

*  To honor Slade in a manner befitting his many contributions to Washington State and America.
